Information systems have links with information and communication technology specifically in solving business and technology problems in an organization / company. Information systems graduates have career opportunities in business and information technology.

This Study Program aims to equip students with knowledge and skills in developing information systems, trends in the use and needs of strategic information systems for companies (corporate information systems), the use of information systems based on e-business, as well as technological and business knowledge that can be applied in the business world and industry.

The Information Systems study program focuses on enhancing the managerial capabilities of information and communication technology and human resources which are expected to create a system that is able to accommodate rapidly growing information needs.

By prioritizing systems research and computer organizations, the field of information systems is more involved in organizational management of software and hardware. The field of information systems will have more coordination with intersecting fields such as System Engineering and informatics which related to application technology and software methodologies. These three fields have a strong attachment.

5. Establishing cooperation with parties who can support the improvement of Human resources competencies in the Information Systems Study Program.

1. To implement the higher education standards in the Information Systems Study Program that refers to the higher education system in Indonesia.
